what are some ways to lose some weight on my 01 gt?

Pricey, but Carbon Fiber fenders and hood would drop some weight in the right places.

Good idea!

Can always relo battery to trunk too. Doesn't save any weight but shifts W/D about .4 pts. (30# less in front and 30# more in back).

ive already taken out the backseat and everything in the trunk i need to sell it all now its taken up room, i never used the seat once so why keep it in there is my thought.

Is that really true for at least a new edge? I've been looking at getting it. Is it actually stronger than the stock one which I assume is solid steel?

They're all tubular (factory ones too). If you're thinking on an aluminum 3.5 or 4" check out Dynotech ...a lot of folks I know swear by them as does most NASCAR teams.

Those ones are really expensive. I'm thinking more like the FRPP ones like the ones sold on americanmuscle.com

Yeah, they usually go for around $599 street price on the S197s ...dunno for the SN95s.
