I was driving home on friday, stopped at the bank and antifreeze came rolling out from under the car. I babied it home and parked it. Let it cool off, no coolant. It sat until this morning, filled it with water, fired right up, let it run for a while to get warm, ran fine no leak. Sat in it to rev it up to get the temp up to get water moving it started to spit and sputter, then died. Will start back up but you hear the fuel pump runnig while the car is spitting and sputtering. Could this be the water pump? I am not mechanic, can fix if I know what is wrong, but can not diagnose. 87 5.0 gt with 5 speed. any help would be great.
