Default Stained Seats?

Hello I bought my Mustang about 1.5months ago and my Seats Stain from ANYTHING. One time I spilled a little drinking water from a water bottle and it stained all over my seat...

Why would they be staining like this?!? I did test it and put a couple of drops of water on it just to see if that was it, and it is.. Why would water stain my seats?!?

Is there any [cheap] way to get these out? I did buy a couple of different products that claim to clean upholstery, cloth seats, etc.. I tried two different products. They both just stained the seats even more.

Could it be that the previous owner got a bunch of dirt or something clogged in them thats being brought to the surface? Whats going on?!?

Water staining them, cleaning products staining them, it seems like I'm stuck with having Stained seats!!
Help!!!

Sounds like maybe the previous owner dyed the seats a different color, and the water and anything else is removing the dye. Got any pics?

Thats bad mildew. Youre better off buying new seat skins. The drivers seat cushion looks worn to, is that ridge the frame work popping up? If the cushions are trapping moisture, that could be why your seats are staining like that.

What does the backseat look like?

Backseats are fine (although there is a stain on one of the seats that was there when I bought it, I dont know what that was from...)

How much are new seat skins?

Is it only the back rest part that's doing that?? That's salt from back sweat in the seats. The water disolves it and redeposits it. You should have the seats pulled out from the car and steam cleaned...

Oh nm I just saw the seat cushion part too..I still say sweat salt. Get them steam cleaned
