Upgrading engine...could use some advice
Hey everyone.
I have a 2004 GT, engine is 4.6L 2V...all stock. I have plans on puttin in a procharger supercharger with some other bolt ons. This will bring me to about my limit with a bone stock bottom end.
I need some advice as to what will need replaced in the bottom end to support more HP.
I am also considering swapping out my 2V for a 03/04 Cobra engine. Does anyone know the best place to find one?

If you check out sites like ChicagoSVT.com or SVTPerformance.com there are a ton of Cobra owners that may have extra parts of an 03/04 Cobra motor.
Also,
check out suttonhp.com They sell the "Aluminator" motor for under 7K. It does not specify it the trans comes with it though.
