Default What oil grade

I'm changing my rear gear oil this week, What wieght should i use. I'm using Royal purple, i've used it in my tranny and motor oil with no complaints so far. Is there a better oil worth the cost????

Doesnt Royal Purple just call their gear oil just that, gear oil? 75w90 sounds familiar, Im too lazy to rummage through the garage for a bottle.

Royal Purple is crap. If you want really good oil check out Torco or Redline.

75w90 sounds familiar. When I had my gears installed I supplied everything and gave them the RP and the friction modifier. They told me that the RP already have FM in it and there didnt need to have any more additive.

well i cant talk about there motor oil because i see no reason to use it in my motor since its stock and old and i dont really care about this motor much..but i have there transmission fluid(manual) and there rear end gear fluid and its never caused any issues with me so i like it.
