Thanks for the advice guys and ofcourse you guys are right. Saftey first. I will either get a new harness that fit or find a better way to mount these. A few hundred buck for new a harness that could save injury is money well spent.
hey i will get pics for you of mine ...you should have 2 metal strap buckles that loop around the harrness around the roll bar ,,did you have any brackets left over..???

I've seen cars with them bolted to the floor instaed of the bar,That might be your best bet
That is a huge no no. The straps will then be pulling down on your body and can compress your spine in an accident

there looped around the bar like shown..brand i have to check tomorrow cant remember..will let you know..
