Default second set of tires due to allignment problems!

Well I bought new front tires about a year and a half ago and the insides are ATE up. You cant tell unless you get down and check. tread on rest is really good. When I bought these tires I took my car to get an alignment job after the new tires were on.

WHAT SHOULD I DO?? Alignment place not do it right or is something wrong with my car?

The car is lowered with eibach springs

If the car was lowered with only springs you have too much negative camber and that will wear out inside tread prematurely.

Get a caster/camber kit. This will allow the technician to adjust camber.

Now you have to decide how much handling you are willing to sacrifice for tire wear.

You probably have about 3 deg neg now. Great for turn in, like autocrossing. Not good for tire wear. You are driving around in the inside of your tread only.
Anything around zero is the ultimate for tire longevity but handling will suffer.

Neg 0.5 to neg 1.0 is a good comprimise.

Default too much negative camber

You have too much negative camber when the car was lowered. Get a set of adjustable camber and caster plate, it goes on top of the strut tower which should provide an additional positive camber. It's cheaper than a pair of new tires. Do a research on after market control arm and K-member.

I'm having the same problem. And I'm going to get new tires but don't want them to just get worn out as well. Only the front is doing it....so aligning it won't help?

hlistr, air pressure, shocks, and cc plates play a role in tire duration. have it to the recommended tire pressure, check you shocks for any leaks, if you are dropped a max of 1.5 inches cc plates are recommended. after all of these are done, buy new tires and go get it aligned. they should last, the tires, a while. The guy told me it was lowered an inch on stock springs. And I put 40 psi in the tires which said max 44. wtf is cc plates? I'm hoping an alignment will fix it, when you look at it the front tires seem to not bow out slightly, like the bottom of the tire is farther out than the top.

Lowered with stock springs? Does that mean someone CUT coils off the stock springs? Or it has an aftermarket lowered spindle?
