cruddy headlights

Buy new ones. Ford and a few other car companies have used that plastic on a number of automotive headlights for a long time. They look super clear when they are new, but they fog up, flake and seem to turn yellow after a while. I don't know of anything you could possibly do to clear them up other than buy some new ones or black those out. You can't remove the fog look or the yellow tint. Sucks

Try the wet sand and polish fix first as its much cheaper than buying new ones. If that doesnt work then buy new ones.
Be sure to wash your lights from time to time as exposure to the sun will eventually bake grease and road grime back onto the lens.

try Plasix by meguirs! it will clean them up a hell of a lot but it wont fix them entirely! I have used that on many vehicles and it clears it up immensely! that is if it is the outside of the lights!
$4.99 at wal-mart!

Oh and NEVER use stuff like Windex or any other cleaner that has ammonia in it to clean the outside of your headlights, and especially never to clean tinted windows. Ammonia reacts badly to lots of plastics & can cause it to haze over.
