The wiper snaps on to the wiper arm. On my 93 its a post that sticks out and the wiper slides on the post. There will be a little plastic button to push in and the whole blade will come off. Newer cars might have a hook instead of the post. Same thing. On the under side of the hook will be a little button push it in and pull the blade at the same time. When you go to put the new wiper on there might be a few adapters that come with it. Just choose the kind you need put the adapter on the blade and slide it on the arm. It should "click" in place.

If you have the post type just push where my thumb is and pull the blade at the same time.. In face the blade I have on there now even says press where you need to. Its pretty easy and next time you wont need to take the arm off.

No problem. Dagger's post reminds me. On some of the post adapters its not a button to push in but a hook the opens and closes over the post to hold the wiper on. They are not as common but if you dont have a button you might have this style. A flat head screwdriver is whats needed to simply pry the hook open and the blade falls right off. Where in VA is braodway? I used to own a vavoline instant oil change in manassas VA. Thats why I have changed so many wipers I know every design by heart.

well, got my wipers on at work. one of the guys there used to have a late 80's, early 90's t-bird, plus he used to work at a ford dealership, so, he knew how to do it, and he showed me, and VOILA. I CAN SEE AGAIN. cuz, well, its raining again for the 2nd day in a F**KIN ROW !!!!! ITS PISSING ME OFF.........im at the beach and its not even nice enuff to GO to the beach to look at all the bikinis walkin around, the fast bikes and the phat cars. oh well. hopefully it'll get nice soon.

BUT, either way, thanks for all the help/tips you all gave me.
