Cold Air Intake Install Question. Extra Hole?
Hey Everybody,
I purchased the AmericanMuscle cold air Intake for my 03 GT. I actually haven't got around to putting it on yet , but when I was looking at it and checking it out I came up with a question. In the upper intake tube ( that goes from the throttle body to the MAF Sensor ) there are two tube inlets for the hoses, and another hole in the back with a rubber gromet in it. What is this hole for? The instructions were for a V6, and that hole was for the Air Temperature Sensor. I couldn't locate the same sensor on the GT. Do I need to get a rubber plug for this hole or what? Am i just not seeing the sensor? I am going to put it on after work tommorow, and I realize this is a novice install, but I dont want to be without something I need as this is my DD. Thanks
