Default I have a simple (I hope) question...

I'm doing a tint job on a friends 2001 Mustang Friday, and I was wondering (hoping) if someone here could help me out, as to how to remove the rear seat and deck?

If anyone knows, it would be greatly appreciated...

rear seat- push in on the front of the seat(where your calves would be if you were sitting in the seat) at the same time lift up and the seat should release

back of seat- now that you have the base removed look where the bottom of the seat back meet the lower seat pan their is a couple of brackets with bolt holding the seat back on, undo these and the seat comes off.

rear deck- once the seat back is removed i would think their is a retainer or two and the rear deck should slid out

Very well said! I wish I had known about these rear seat removal directions when I was installing my side scoops. LOL

It took me an extra 30 minutes to figure out what you have written above!

Ok, well, my friend and I tried pushing and lifting and nothing happened...

And both him and I are stumped as to what to do...

We didn't want to push or lift too hard and break something either, ya know...
