Default 71 confused, help

Ok i have this 71, I think, dont have the title yet working one getting it, but I have at least 2 different Vins on the car., The one on the dash shows it is a mach one with a 351, the door one shows a fastback with a 302.

The one i have has a 351 in it, It does not have power steering or power brakes
Ill put a pic on if possible..

Here are the 2 vins i found
1F02FXXXXXX
and
1F05HXXXXXX

I wouldn't rely on the door, those get changed often. See if you can find one one the top of where the fenders mount or maybe even the " body buck" tag up on the radiator support. That should be on the pass side behind or near the headlight.

Default Vin Question

I agree with Stepman,

Doors get replaced. If you can find the original color on the body and on the door odds are good that they won't match. It's not real likely that the dash vin was changed...especially if the info seems to agree with what the car is.

I'm not sure where the "Hidden Vin" is on the 71. on my 65 it was under the top lip of the fender up by the cowl
