Default Someone help me! Stall problem

Hey, I've got a 1987 Mustang GT 5.0. My car will die occassionally at idle at a red light and when I drive it will stutter, causing my stereo to restart, as if my car turned off and turned right back on. Occassionally it will die completely. I will be driving around 45-50 mph and the car will just shut off, causing me to lose power steering and brakes and cause me to have to pull off the road and restart. I've changed the plugs and wires, the distributor, and checked out my injectors, fuel pump, and fuel filter. The car is still randomly stalling or stumbling. Anyone have any ideas? I'm hearing fuel pressure regulator from a mechanic friend, but my fuel pressure on my pressure gauge that I have reads steady....

try checking your battery connection or possibly alternator, you can test these easily, very common problem so it's worth a try. I've had idle problems with my gt, all I had to do was spray some carb cleaner in the idle air control valve, and it hasn't stalled since. Very easy and quick to do, so even if it doesn't work its still good for the car. Good luck
