Anyone know some tricks towards fixing front brake pistons???
Alright, I just bought a 2000 mustang gt, after a long relationship with my Firebird, so far I've had a few problems, really easy fixes. So when I went to do the brake pads and rotors earlier today I didn't think it was going to be quite as aggravating. The drivers side was done in 2 seconds and no problems. The passenger front caliper is sticking on me though, and I realllly don't want to have to replace it. The piston retracts with ease using a c clamp, I sprayed it down with wd40 and cleaned it, there's no fluid leak, and there's plenty of pressure after pumping the brakes a bit. So why does the piston still stick? I know you're all probably sick of these questions, but there has to be something else I can do without replacing the whole caliper. Thanks

The caliper is probably corroded from water in the old fluid.
You can buy new ones or use 400 grit wet or dry sandpaper to clean the corrosion out of the bores. If one is sticking they are all getting ready to start.I'd clean out all of 'em or they'll start wearing out pads.
Changing the fluid every couple of years or whenever the fluid starts to turn brown is the best insurance to keep brake lines and cylinders from corroding in the first place.
