Default which cam to pick

okay well, i have a 66 with a 289, just got the exhaust done, and now im looking for some actual engine things to do, and i thought that a cam shaft would be a nice and somewhat cheap thing to do

now, i have no clue which one to get, and i have plenty of air and fuel that can be taken in but have a tiny cam, and stock heads

i was thinking this one
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...K&autoview=sku

would that be a decent one to get?

Well with the coke bottle heads a cam is really pointless.Since with this cam you would have to change springs and possibly even rockers, check ptv clearence etc...All for maybe 10-15hp..We put one of eldebrocks performer cams in the boss mans 289 that didn't require stronger springs and you could use the stock rail rockers. Not much lope to it though but it did help the bottom end some.
