I have a K&N filter...how often should I clean it???

 

depends on the conditions you are driving in......if it's really dusty, you will want to clean it more often....if your car sits in the garage and only comes out on nice days, it will never get dirty LOL.

I clean mine every three or four months.

Don't use an air compressor to dry it. They can rip it all apart if you are not careful.

 

Once a year would be the absolute minimum. More often if you drive in dusty conditions, or put a LOT of mileage on your car.

How often do you guys check/change fuel filters?

 

I do both once a years no need to clean the air filter anymore.....when a k/n is just cleaned a paper filter will out flow it for about 500-600 miles

 

I just replaced mine after 10000 miles. I don't see the point in cleaning it, I just spend the $25 and get a new one.
