I'm pretty sure the Mach does not have forged internals, I believe it also has an aluminum block vs the Cobra's cast iron.

 

Mach 1 does not have the high end forged internals the Cobra's have.

Mach's have a solid rear, while Cobra's have an IRS.

Both the Mach and the Cobra are 4V's.

Between the GT's, the Mach's and the Cobra, Cobra beats them all, and is the best bang for buck overall. These days, you can pick up a cobra with decent miles on it for around 22-24K. That is a hell of a deal for a car that already has a built up motor, Supercharged from the factory, with a bad *** trans and a sweet rear end.

Mach 1 had 3.55 gears stock.

 

Engine wise, the 03 gt has
a n/a 4.6l 2v, the same as in all 99-04 gt's

the 03 cobra has
a s/c 4.6l 4v, the same as in the 04 cobra. The cylinder block is made of cast iron with forged internals(Crankshaft,Rods,Pistons). The cylinder heads are made of aluminum.

the 03 gt makes 260hp
and
the 03 cobra makes an underrated 390hp, more like 420hp.
