Is this a good deal?
Thanks for the replies. I talked to my brother, and he thought that $18,900 was probably as low as they'd go. He always figures that if they let you walk out the door after the second or third visit, they're at their bottom price.
The car's sitting right now in a storage building, just waiting for the snow and the salt to go away. Probably April or so.

Thanks for the replies, everyone. I couldn't get them to come down any more on the price. I talked to my brother about it, and he asked if they let me walk out the door. I said yes, and he said that $18,900 was probably their lowest price.
They started at $22,900 just four months ago. Blue book trade-in is about $17,000, so they're making about 10%. That's probably their bottom line.

I already have it. I own it. The only problem is that it will sit in a CarBag in the storage building until late March or early April, after the majority of the salt is off the streets.
Timspony, I originally thought I could get them down under $18K, but as I said before, I think that $18,900 was their last stand.
It's a beauty, though. My wife admitted as much, even though she's said that she doesn't like Mustangs. Her next thing to say was to ask when she could drive it.

18900 is kind of high. i recently got my bone stock 03 cobra for 18100 with 20k miles. you just have to know how to deal.
Honestly though, if you wait long enough, you can always find a deal, there's always someone desperate to get rid of their car, but if he's excited, and in a hurry, and found one fully loaded with low miles, why not.
