C4 Transmission Troubleshooting
Looking for some help... Mustang is still running fine but need help with my Falcon...
Well I finally took the time to put my carburetor (Edelbrock Performer 750 on a 302) on my Falcon today and decided to take it for a test drive. I made it down the block just fine and the transmission was responding perfectly. The idle on the carb was set a little high so when I made a 3 point turn at the end of the block it went in reverse just fine with a little wheel spin but when I put it into drive, I lost all gears. Tranny fluid smells fine and is nice and red. Linkage is connected correctly and park works perfectly. I tried moving the shifter in between gears in case it wasn't adjusted properly but no luck... Any quick pointers before I have to rip the thing out and rebuild it?
