Default Will I pass emission testing??????????

I have the stock exhaust system with 2 precats and 2 main cats. The car had the 2 main cats removed and their has never been a check engine light because of this. The car is a 2001 and I know they dont do the sniffer tests on 2001+. So my question is, will I pass emissions testing with just 2 pre cats? car runs fine. I also, had a iac restrictor plate installed, dont know if that will affect anything or not. And just installed a new battery, will the car be ready for testing right away or should I drive it awhile and how long ?? Thanks for any input guys.

as long as there is no visual and you dont have a CEL you should be good to go.

Cool thanks for your input. No, there is no visual. What about the new battery that I had put in?? Wont that clear all the computer's memory? Should I drive it for a day or two to be sure?

You should take it on a highway trip or 2 for a few days.. Whenever you replace the battery it clears the PCM, and you will throw a non-readiness code and they will fail you for it. Give it a couple good long drive cycles first, then take it thru

Without the main cats, you won't pass visual inspection or a sniffer.

If there is no visual and no sniffer... what kind of emissions testing are they doing?

2001+ use the obdII port and they just plug in to read the computer. The computer will tell their device if everything reads out ok. I know if you have a check engine light, they will fail you on the spot.
