ok just about ready to throw my nitrous jets in ..what size this time..?remember i got a built eng. with 12.5 to 1 compression.srps , 4340 crank, h beam rods with L-19 rod bolts, O ,stock block..[&:] i had 180 hp in it last time..thought i had 150..

 

Well since you are going to be the one rebuilding it I say 250

 

put the 250 in there it should handle it with that built engine

180 is about all you probably can handle, you said built motor but stock block [doesnt matter 351 or not] hopefully your fuel system is up to par

 

i voted 250 just so i could see results of poll..,ithink an easy 200 but dont know about 250.....fuel system is right ,,2 holley blues for 1000 cfm demon flows 1 gallon in 17 seconds...and a separate pump for nos system,,a mallory 140...both have mallory regulators....i want to get lowest times possible..this time,,cause iam going to set it up for i while ,,but dont want to blow it ...got to work on other projects i got ..

start small, see how it acts then think about going bigger
