OP: you can just buy the scoop and install it on the hood you have now. no need to waste money on a whole new hood.

yeah I know but my hood now is crap. Fading and all the scratches get on my nerves

just get it repainted. theyll install the scoop at the same time.

but how much does that run? is it that much of a hassle to put on a new hood? lol

no...its just a waste of money. i dont know exactely how much it would cost, but im sure its cheaper than a whole new hood + paint.

you were the one that said money was tight, so i offered a cheaper alternative.

but the hood i might buy is the cars color already, and its 150 OBO. not too expensive
