Hey guys,
Got a new Shelby GT-500 and was wanting more from the exhaust. Which Catback system would you guys recommend for it? Was thinking about the Magnaflow.

 

Damn well congratulations... i dont know a whole lot but heard Magnaflow is not bad at all.. + i believe why NOT try it..just for the heck of it..But if you really want to go for just the quality go for flowmasters..But you want something beastly outta something..Magnaflow u thinking would be right choice that you want.. I currently own a 2009 Mustang GT 45th anniversary ..im putting flowmasters on mine

congrats, MAGNAFLOW FTW, me and my dad both have it on our cars (03 cobra and 07gt/cs) and it is the ****... its not super loud but its kinda old school sounding, real deep and grunty. i love it personally.

 

what i have found out between the two is magnaflow is the olny one who makes a 3 1/2"race muffler. it is a full race muffler. i have one on my 04 gto... and the sound is one of a kind, with the flow of straights...

 

Ok...i found two magnaflows catbacks for the Shelby. Ones a 2.5inch system and the other is a 3inch. Which one do you guys recommend? They also have axle back exhaust but I don't think those would do crap for any hp gains..

Your best bet is to just go on youtube and listen to clips to see what sounds best to you.

 

...idk...that Bassani sounds pretty nice too..I think the hp gain will be deciding factor between the Magnaflow and Bassani. Thanks
