hey everyone, i got new brake discs a lil while ago, and like after one week it rained like twice. and the discs are covered in like looks like rust. do u guys have this problem, and what did u guys do to help it

they all do that dude. It can happen overnight. It's no big deal. just go for a drive and it will be good as new again.

ya i know they all do it, but they seem really bad for some reason, and i went for a drive and they stayed the same. thats why i posted that cuz it didnt seem right, oh well

thats wierd they didnt clean themselves. Try alonger ride to really get them heated.

my stang sat for about 3 monthes and i had deep rust on the disks, after a fairly short drive with some heavy breaking it was compleetly gone, but realy even if it dosent go away it shouldent be a problem

Did you buy the aftermarket ones that are cheap?If so there are some really bad ones out there,I dont use anything but ford parts cause they dont last nearly as long and they are cheap *** parts.Half the time you buy the pads from auto zone and pep boys they dont come with all the clips and shims you need.They give you a lifetime warranty beacause you need it they never last.

And like they will like rust if you like let the car like sit like for like a while like also.
