v6 tight wallet big imagination
So heres the deal, I just got my v6 mustang and i wanted to make it a bit faster without spending to much money, my dad owns a mechanic shop so doing the work wont be a problem and messing with the engine wont be either. But for what to do im coming to you guys, what can i do to make my v6 pull a little harder? Or should i wait and supercharge it? There is alot of space to poke around with. Give me your ideas! Thanks!
I'd sell it, save up for a GT; even supercharged V6 Mustangs aren't up to par.

Check out americanmuscle.com (vendor), they have some 4.10 gear kits for your car, or 3.73 if your using a manual transmission.

If messing around with the engine isnt a big deal, Why not build your own stroker kit from an F150 v6 and bring it up to a 4.2l. The V6 haters are right that the 8s are easier to mod, but a 2v 8 IMO isnt worth modding as much as a 4v or the 197s 3v. And if a v8 is in your future, things like a tuner, wheels, body parts etc can all be moved from your v6 to the v8 if you stick with a new edge. So thats something else to consider. No one wants to sit idle with their new car
