Default Just a couple quick questions.

I have recently been looking for a new car for myself and I cant seem to get my mind off Mustangs.

But I dont have all that much experience with them. Im not worried about minor repairs as I do those all the time. I love working on cars. But I just figured I would askaround here.

What should I be looking for? I know I want a 99 or later GT, im a power junkie. But my budget is about $6,000. I love the 99 35th Anniversary Edition Stangs.

Any tips?

buy it cheap and make it fast. Best thing you could do is buy a 99 v6 with 200k miles on it and drop in a badass motor

the economy is in the $hitter.

i bought my cobra for 18500 with 21k miles three months ago.

a 99 GT with a solid amount of miles can be had for around 6-8k in my area.

ya, maybe i did, but you might be surprised how the economy is making people want to unload their cars. a guy that really needs money will sell for pretty cheap. especially if the car has been on the market for awhile.
