has anyone changed one out before? how does the headlight switch come off? any details or advice would be very appriciated. i have to drive it on a 1000 mile trip and i dont have a temp guage. thanks,mike btw 95 gt

 

I believe you just pull it off or there is a button you push in on the back side that releases it.As far as the cluster it just unplugs and you plug the new on on.What makes you think its the cluster not a sender for the temperature gauge?

 

Dont pull it off, there is a black metal clip on the back side of it you can reach with a pick. Then you take out the torques screws and then remove the black trim piece. After that you remove the small bolts all around it and slide the bottom out first so it slides right out. Then you remove the 2 connecters on the back side of it and swap! Good luck.
