Hello all. I am brand new here. I just purchased a V6 Mustang (1994).

I want to yank the 3.8L and drop a 5.0L into the car. Does anyone know if the 3.8L V6 tranny will bolt up to a 94-95 5.0L engine?

Also, what other problems/things should I look for. I imagine engine mounts....

I tried searching, but I came up with nothing....I am sure a bunch of people on this board have done a swap like this though....
Any direction is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

 

You have SOOOOO much more than I think you realize to pull off the 5.0L swap. Like suspension, rear axle, fuel upgrades etc.... It's cheaper/less work to make the V6 faster than to do the swap.
