recently purchased a dual exhaust system from pypes exhaust for our v6. I was wondering if there was anybody that has done this conversion that is experiencing an awful drone sound in the interior. If so how did you rectify this problem? Please help because I have GONE CRAZY!!!!!

 

It's a v6. Duals typically sound awful.

 

Since you bought a V-6 Mustang you obviously don't care about performance. Why did you buy an aftermarket exhaust? Just put the factory exhaust back on if you can't handle the "drone".

 

Honestly, you shoulda just gone with a slightly bigger single exhaust..

Wow, don't ever listen to a V8 fanboy when it comes to V6 stuff.....EVER.

First off, Pypes sucks. Get rid of that crap.
There are several set ups for the V6 that sound just fine. Will it sound like a gas guzzling V8? No - not to any car guy (might fool 90% of people on the street though). Will it sound nice? Sure it will. My sixer sounds great. I know of a lot who have nice sounding V6 Mustangs.
