Default Rev Limiter

Hey yall..Im new to the Mustang world..Just bought my first mustang toy Friday..A 90' GT with a 306 that has about 17,000 miles on it..It was a good friend of mines car so I know what kind of shape it is in and know that it has been taken care of thats why I bought it ..My question is, does the 90 models have a rev limiter in it?? Somebody told me that they have one at 6250 but Im not sure about that I thought that was for the newer mustangs..From what I understand tho, you cant hurt the 5.0 anyway..They will take a hell of a beating before quitting..

Should have a rev limiter.

You can hurt anything if you rev it high enough.
