Unhappy very concerned

i was driving today normally with no prombles, then all of a sudden the electric throttle control (wrench) light came on... so i pulled in a plaza and turned my car off, and turned it back on, the wrench light stayed on and the service engine light came on too, i changed oil recentley and pretty much drove normal (no heavy acceleration or nothing like that, very few times here and there).. i noticed also the car wasnt driving as fast as it is normally.. i drove back home (about 5 more miles) and turned off the car, waited for about 10-15 mins and turned it back on, the wrench light went off but the service engine light stayed on !... anybody has an idea on what the problem could be? i am very concerned.

thanks in advance.

Take it to a parts store, most of them have a diagnostics test kit they can run and see whats wrong, and all of them around where I live are free... (hint hint, they want you to buy the product to fix it :P)
