Default Question about A Dodge Daytona

My mom just bought a 1990 2.5L turbo dodge daytona.. its always been a favorite car of hers for some reason. I was sondering if there was anything you could do to make the thing a go a little more, specifically. It is automatic but she'll live.

those are actually considered to be one of the first tuner cars. If you look around you will probably find that there is a decent aftermarket for them.

try looking for an intercooler and maybe a manual boost controler and also get an exhaust custom made for you....that might give you some more hp

Default RE: Question about A Dodge Daytona

I had an 88 model 2.2 turbo back in the day. It's turbo would only spool to 7 lbs, but once my catalytic converter blew and I cut it off, the turbo would bury the gauge at a whopping 15 lbs. However, it pinged like a bitch if i ran cheap gas.

Now, I am not suggesting you break federal laws by taking the converter off, just telling you my own experiences.
