I got a 2003 GT that has the SES light on now. I just reset the emergency fuel switch pump because it was hit by a propane tank, and so i reset the switch. Now, the light hasnt gone off yet, and I'm not sure what else i can do to make sure everything is fine. What else should i check?

 

You can either have someone hook a scan tool and find out what the code is or you can disconnect battery for 5 minutes and then drive and see if light comes back on.Could be a fuel pump code because the inertia switch was tripped.

 

The car is equipped with OBDII Emissions. Disconnecting the battery will do no good. You either have to hook it up to a scan tool to reset it, or drive it for a while untill all parameters have been gone through by the ECM. This can take up to a week. Sometimes more. Take it to like an Auto Zone, or Pep Boys. Sometimes they will hook up the scan tool for free. They may not reset it free, but they will give you any codes stored in the ECM. Good Luck!
