A 351m is a low performance destroked 400. It has a taller deck height (same as the400)thantheregular 351C.It hassmall portheads anduses the same bolt patternas a big block. Ipersonally would nothave much use for one unless you already have one. I had one in a old 78Bronco. It was rated for less than 150hp.

If you knew anything, you would know what your problem really was. Don't slam that motor.

The only thing I know is that the 351m is last motor I would look for when it comes to anything. If you have one and can afford it, swap that thing out for a 460. If you have a 351c or 351w build those motors first and don't even think about the 351m.

Right, I believe he said he wants a 351 Windsor, which is a good choice considering it's 20 lbs. lighter than a 351 Cleveland.

Just for the record a 351m is perhaps the sorriest piece of **** engine ever produce. Itsheave, super weakfrom the factory and aftermarket parts are nearly impossible to find and are expensive. Anyone considering slapping in a 351m or 400 in a Mustang should reconsider. Now that that is said, the guy wants a 351w anyways.
