Your First Car?
Just curious what kinds of cars people had before a Mustang unless the Mustang is your first car
Also if possible include:
-A picture of it
-How much it cost
-What kind of job you had to pay for it
-How old you were at the time
-Was it auto or manual

Factory ordered a 1968 Plymouth RoadRunner when I was a junior in college(a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away) for a wallet draining total of $3200(at least it was back then). It was equipped with a 383 4-bbl, 4-speed manual w/Hurst shifter, Sure-Grip differential w/3.55 gears, zero power options/power steering/power brakes/AC, vinyl bench seats(great for those drive-in dates during the sweet summertime), and swing-out rear windows. But it did have an AM radio with metal dials that heated up when the radio was on. And it ran like a *****. Meep-meep!
Paid for it with savings bonds that my folks had amassed over the years for my college expenses. I received a full athletic scholarship, so I couldn't allow all of that $ to just sit there and collect dust.

A Mustang as a graduation present? Wow!!!
My first car was a 1960 Oldsmobile F85 that I bought for $125 in 1966. I was working after school (high school) washing dishes for 95 cents an hour at a restaurant. To put that into perspective, though, gas was 19 cents a gallon.
Other cars I had were: 1965 Chevy Corvair convertible (good car), 1967 Buick LeSabre, 1966 Buick Special, 1959 MGA (great car), 1965 Triumph Spitfire, 1965 Pontiac GTO convertible (fantastic car: blue with a white top and white bucket interior, Hurst 4-speed, four barrel carbs), 1972 Buick LeSabre (great car), two early 70's Ford Pinto's (both good cars), a late 70's Renault LeCar (worst car ever made), 1976 Chevy Nova, two early 80's Mazda 626's, 1988 Ford Ranger, 1991 Saturn (still drive it), 1974 MGB (loved that car), 1976 Dodge something-or-other wagon, a late 70's Dodge van, 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser, and a 1969 Jaguar XKE that I restored from a rustbucket to a trophy car.
