Default spring problems

so my p.i.t.a mother inlaw has a 89 mustang gt convertible
thats been lowered and she wants it back to stock height fine dandy...

so i find springs for her and she comes unglued "because she has been to 3 shops and they all tell her she needs special v8 springs"..

soo.. can anyone clear up this problem do the springs have to be v8 specific? or anything?

also means if i can find stock springs i might have a set of lowerd springs to.. get rid of

well a v8 is heavier in the front due to the larger engine so it requires stiffer springs.

I have a set of springs, stuts, shocks and quads out of a '98 GT. You can have all for $50 if you want. UPS shouldn't be too much to ship ground. I'm in Albany, NY.

Hello DEANNOSTANG:

I noticed you have modded suspension. How do you like them? How is the ride compare to stock?

I have 1999 GT and wanted to upgrade the suspension. I prefer to have a smooth ride over really stiff
ride(I would sacrifice performance for comfort).

I want to spend less than $600 to do all this.

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

THANK YOU
