Hi I need some advice on some headers? I was thinking about buying some BBK shortys headers whit a BBK off road X pipe, or some Pypes shortys headers whit a pypes off road X pipe or some Hedman Headers Long Tube whit a Hedman off road x pipe. Which one do you think it would be better for my 2003 Mustang GT? Also a good place a good get them at a good price. If you want send me a PM.

 

Long tubes > shorties

 

I am also in the market for some long tube headers. A local mechanic recommended BBK's. He also says I will need to buy some sort of computer chip program which will over-ride the "Check Engine" light which he says will come on once the headers are installed. That chip is 400$. Is it really necessary to purchase this?
