Hey All,
What the heck is up with IROC Z/28 owners? Anyone have as weird of experience as I just had? I was at 7-11 grabbing a soda when this dewd pulls up in a red IROC. He comes in and asks me if that's my 2003 Mach 1..I said yup, and he says ya wanna run? I looked more closely at his IROC and it looked like it was completely stock. I said dewd, I don't think you want to run me. He says I have 476hp!!! I grinned and said ok. We went to a long street near by and froma dead stop we took off. I smoked him soooo baaaaadly..it was embarassing!!!! By the time I shut down I must have had 10 car lengths on him!!! We stop and he says what do you have under there NOS? I said nope..bone stock..grinned and took off
Should have seen the dumbas* look on his face as I lit the tires up and vannished. Geez, what is it with IROC's? Anyone else come up against idiots like this? I really didn't want to run him, but he was such an as*hole telling me he had 476hp under the hood!!!

Hey Dan,
Yeah I normally wouldn't have run him, but geez he was really being a jerk and egging me on so I just "had" to run him <img border="0" src=smileys/smiley1.gif border="0"> But the funny thing is...I have had two other IROC's try to race me as well...weird huh? I knew I had em' when he stated he had 476 (what a weird number to pull outta his butt) HP...LOL..!!! Even with NOS 250 shot he wouldn't have been making that much HP!!! AND my Mach is set up to go around corners not go fast in a straight line <img border="0" src=smileys/smiley1.gif border="0">

Yeah, ricer syndrome is rampant in society today.</P>
I once had some putz in his early 90's Eclipse try to hang with me in my '65 goat...what cracked me up is I wasn't even messing with him, I was messing with the car on the other side of me, because it was full of even more putzes looking at me funny. 8-)</P>
I can imagine the look on his face when I hit 60and was stillsmokin' my tires.
