My 1994 Mustang GT 5.0 headlight bell started going off even with the engine running and the doors closed while I'm driving down the road. When I turn the headlights off the bell stops, turn the headlights on and the bell starts again, anyone have an idea why? Is there a way to simply turn the alarm off? It's a show car only so not worried about lights being left on, and I don't have the manual. Anyone?

 

You're referring to the buzzer right? I'd need a schematic to say for sure, but it sounds like the buzzer is hooked to the wrong side of the door jamb switch. It should only be buzzing when the door is opened with the lights on.
