I just ordered my Mach 1 grille delete and it's the two piece. I bought it from AM and I forgot about the 3rd piece when I ordered it. So I've been reading that you need to cut out a slot for the horse to fit in the grille delete. Has anyone else had to do this or does anyone know I good way to do this so it looks right? Thanks.

 

I bought the same kit from AM for my '02 GT. Nope there is no cutting involved, the kit comes with a shiney new chrome pony too.

It's gonna look GREAT!

 

I know the kit comes with everything and I know it comes with a new Pony emblem. But if you knew what I was talking about, there are three pieces to the kit, but the third piece is optional and I forgot to get it. So I have to use the stock piece of the car grille and cut a square out so the pony emblem can fit...

 

Yes I think I do know what you're talking about.. and no you don't "need" that 3rd piece. None of your original grill gets re-used, it all gets replaced
