Default Electrical seat

I just bought a 2001 Mustang GT Roush a little over a month ago. It has been great so far, but the other day the driver seat stopped working. My mom was driving it and had to move the seat forward. When I got in it, and tryed to move it back it would'nt move.

Does anyone have an idea what it could be. I already checked the fuses under the dash and they all worked. Any help would be appreciated.

An inoperative seat can be caused by: open fuse, circuitry (wiring, terminals,
connectors), faulty switch.

Try moving the seat without you sitting on it, and applying backward pressure as you activate the switch. If the seat still doesn't move, you should check for voltage at the motor. If there is voltage at the motor, then replace the seat motor. If no voltage at the motor, check voltage at the switch. Replace the switch, if voltage is not passing thru the switch.

I'd check under the seat & see if a power connector got pulled loose when she moved the seat forward..
