Default Motor from truck to car?

i have access to a 92 for f 150 with a 5.0 in it. was wondering if i could take it out and throw it in my 87 gt stang, the only intell i have found is that it uses a different firing order in the truck but that i can use mustang firing order once installed. this engine would be my builder motor. would like to build a cammed out NA . second question i have is would i be able to use the stock wiring harness from the truck to convert my stang to a MAF setup or can i make good numbers with out it? any help i could get would be greatly app.
thanks guyz

im not a genius in this subject, but im pretty sure you cant change the firing order in an engine without changing the whole crankshaft. the firing order has to do when each piston reaches TDC. its not going to do any good if the spark plug ignites the fuel when the piston is at the bottom of its stroke. you can probably use the trucks distributor and just power it with your mustang coil, but you cant change the firing order.

Good answer in theory but in actual Ford applications. It's the camshaft that determines the firing order.

i had heard that the cam was the only difference as far as internals go. i think the truck 5.0 made less power but more tq than the mustang 5.0. im just interested in it for the block. gonna be the motor on the stand for a while .
