Default Insuring a mustang

well my main question is, what can i expect to pay? i don't live in a very populated town, i wouldn't be putting many miles on it (5k at most?), i would be on the insurance w/ my parents, and i'm 17

i really hoping it won't be crazy expensive..but i feel it will be

"Full" coverage is SO subjective. You cannot do an apples to apples comparison without a number of key factors:

Age:
Zip code you live in:
Actual coverages per line item on the insurance:
Insurance company:
Discounts: based on security devices, good student, home owners insurance, etc
etc etc.

Lets put it this way. My car costs me $1,000 ever six months ($167 a month) for the coverages I have. My exact same coverage through any other insurance company I've checked is double that. I have mercury.

My liability coverage is 50K/100K
Private Property Damage is 50K
Medical Reimbursement is 10K
Under/uninsured motorist is 50k/100k
Comprehensive 50K/100K
I know I'm missing one or two items there.

I'm 35 with a multi-car discount and listed as the primary driver on my insurance for my car, I own my house, I have an excellent credit rating and I have 1 incident on my driving record.

OKane stop guessing and wondering! Call a couple of insurance companies and ask them how much insurance is going to be, BEFORE YOU BUY a car.

But pick a couple cars you are thinking of buying as examples.
