i know this sounds stupid but i'm losing money casue of it. when i do burnouts only my left tire spins and it's eating it up. i just had to get it replaced but my right one is perfectly new. i've heard of something to make em both spin but i can't remember what it is.

Ford's put a trak lok in your 8.8 from the factory which they use clutch style disc's to lock both wheels together in a straight line and let them slip alittle in the corners,so you probaly need to rebuild the trak lok with new clutch's in order to get rid of your one wheel peel blues.

Quasi something? You need your Traction Loc rebuilt, or just get a new differential.

Quasi? I think you thinking of posi. You have it but its worn out, you need to rebuild your differential and you will have no problem breaking both wheels loose.

a posi is just a different way of making it so the vehicle can turn easier by allowing the wheels to trun at different speeds. u can research it if i want to see how it works. all u will need for the rebuild is the kit, some rear end oil, friction modifier, and some gasket maker

well, it is the "limited slip" part of it. it is also used as a safety feature. if one wheel breaks loose (ice, etc) it puts all of the rpms to the slipping wheel so the non-slipping wheel doesnt drive the car towards the slipping wheel. so when u break a wheel loose, it stops the other one.
