Was it in a accident?
Is the door itself bent?
Are the door hinges properly secured on both sides?

looks like a minor one, and the door is slightly bent at the door end, and it looks like it is properly secured.

You can either bang the dent thats stopping the door from shutting yourself, have a shop do it. Or find a new door. I'm sure a junk yard would have 1999-2004 Mustang V6/GT/Mach/Cobra/etc. that you could get a door off of.

Haha don't worry about it man, thats what this website is for

From looking at my car, there are two hinges on the door. The door-side hinges have 2 large bolts, and the car-side hinge has 3 smaller bolts. Thats a total of six bolts. Grab a wrench(the space is too small for a ratchet) and tighten all these bolts. You may want to grab a friend/family member, and have them hold the door UP while you tighten the bolts.

Good luck!

I work in construction if the door is 1/2 inch lower than it should, it must the lower hinges that needs to be tightened, if it was the top one you wouldn't notice much difference until all that weight gets on the bottom one and then both would be screwed.
