Ok while working on my 89 gt i discovered that this part that bolts to the side of my A.I.R. pump is broken. Noone around carries this part and i work from 6am to 6pm so i don't have time to scour the junkyard looking for it. if anyone can find this part for me i will pay $$. the thunderbird 5.0 probably has the same part as well. picture below shows part but not the flange that has two bolt holes in it (its broken off) thanx for lookin mods-sorry if i posted in the wrong section

 

i dont suppose you know what that part is called do you?
air pump elbow?

must be from 89 to 91 they are the same. you do have the 302 correct?

 

yes 5.0. i only see the air pump-not the elbow[]

 

take that air pump off. that crap causes u to lose power.

 

sorry i prefer to keep it stock as possible.

 

Throw it out, its still stock!

 

but if i take it off, my car won't run right.

 

It's just and emission's piece and has no effect on how the car runs.

 

doesn't it affect the readings that the oxygen sensor gets?
