Looks nice. Although historically 96-98s arent incredibly quick, yours looks sweet. What are your plans?

The 5.0 shifter is the way to go, or a Steeda Tri-Ax. Something to consider is a K&N filter fuel-injection performance kit (FIPK), which will draw air from outside the engine compartment rather than inside, and give you a few extra horses becuase of the cooler air intake. It can be had for $200. Also think about replacing your fluids with synthetics (Royal Purple or Redline), in the transmission and the rear end, as this will free up approximately 10 HP as well. These are some cheap enhancements to get just a tiny bit more out of your car. Good luck!

yeah, do some cheap stuff to improve performance... and watch out for those VTEC Integras and Preludes till you do (lol, just playing around... but seriously)

right on, they are comparing it to other mustangs. however, its still a v-8 with 215HP with 300 ft/lbs of torque stock - maybe not the fastest but enough to put a smile on most people's faces.
