Where did all the 5.0s go?
I was wondering if it is like this in other places. About 5-7 yrs ago EVERYBODY had a 5.0. It was really their heyday. Alot of punk-*** kids had 'em too. To be honest, I have always loved the car, but stayed away from getting one until now (I hate cookie cutter cars). Now that the import boom is in full swing, 5.0s are much less common. Where did they all go? I mean, for the volume that used to be on the road, there seems to be alot less. I'm supprised. It's the best thing on four wheels. I make this as an educated statement. My job has gotten me behind the wheel of big block Vettes, Mopars and even both a real and a kitcar cobra (I'm a mechanic/body man at a restoration shop). For a car to live with everyday, the 5.0 wins hand down.
alot of ppl has jumped on the ls1 band wagon. not saying that is a bad thing but you can find ls1 cars around 7Gs why not. some stangs sell for that price. and we all know that an ls1 owns just about any mustang stock
yea, there's nota whole lot down here. some really fast foxes, but other than that, not much. i guess pitt must have a reallygood car market, cos you can't touch an LS1 in houston for less than 11 or 12 g's.
