Question Pulling engine to transport to machine shop question

I hope to have my 289 out of the 66 today.

I will be transporting it to the machine shop tomorrow in my van, but I am not sure how to support it at the bottom. BTW I have the heads and intake removed from the block.

I want to remove the motor mounts. Also I wanted to remove the pan but not too sure if setting it on the crank is a good idea, not sure if setting it on the pan is either.

Appreciate some ideas.
TIA

Setting it on an old tire works.

I knew there was a simple solution to this.
I knew I should have kept one old tire around!

Thanks, first time doing this but enjoying it quite a bit!

Too many decisions to make on what heads and intake to go with, the originals I have or one of the 10 million after market top ends available? That is the hard part.

It also won't hurt it a bit to tip it up on the bellhousing end to transport it. Just make sure to secure it so it doesn't fall over. If you are concerned about the crank flange, just put something under it to pad it but it's doubtful you would really need it.
