Default i think i got it.. h pipe

well i barely and i mean barely got the h pipe to fit.. but when i connected the 2 pipes together,, where they meet in the middle, its kinda curved, like i think i left a tiny bit of space.. is that ok as long as i clamp it.. i mean i went thru all the trouble to cut the pipes and then stick in the headers.. so am i good or do i need a new h pipe?.. basically im asking.. will it work the way i have it.. b/c its in place.. tight as can be.. except for that bit of space

What I usually do is start the car listen for exhaust comming out somewhere besides the tail pipes and I crawl underneth (car on jack stands) and put me fingers buy all the places I bolted anything together and feel for exhaust leaks. Try not to touch the exhaust for some reason it gets hot I havn't figured out why yet. If there are no leaks your good to go if there are I usually throw tools and swear alot doesn't help the car much but it makes me feel better. Check again after you drive for a while sometimes the exhaust will move a little.

yea, if you feel air escaping form other than tailpipes, you need to tighten down bolts, straighten stuff up, or weld if you want. mine is welded in for the midpipe but the cat back is bolted on
